Liquid Telecom is a pan African technology company known for its fiber and software solutions on the continent. It is known for creating and preserving relationships with African startups by making resources available for scalable solutions. African startups have warmed to Liquid as they have invited and courted a number of partnerships. Most recently they have partnered with Afrilabs. Liquid Telecom has also partnered with the enterprise-oriented Microsoft to provide cloud services to the startups. Liquid Telecom is focused on providing partnerships that support the tech startups. Offering connectivity with facilitating the work done in these hubs and provide a stable connection to scale their work. They will also have access to the Microsoft Azure cloud services thanks to their partnership with Microsoft.

Liquid telecom played an essential role in Microsoft recent acquisition of GitHub. GitHub which plays the host to the world’s largest community of developers. For the purpose of building and sharing better software. In thanks partially to the initiative taken by the Liquid team to set up a partnership, Microsoft is slowly but surely moving their focus to more tech startups. Liquid Telecom is focusing a lot on the tech industry, by offering support to scale up business and renew relationships with older partners for future business.

This offer is beneficial especially to African startups which are unaware of how to navigate cross-border networks to achieve funding and investment opportunities to scale their businesses. Liquid also offers training in digital skills to help techies achieve their goals.
